The humor quilts provide an opportunity to share methods with other artists for conveying ideas, a twist of words, a pun, and laughter – the best of life’s natural remedies.
Sometimes we laugh because of the element of truth in what we say. “What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?” What are some of our basic expectations of life? Isn’t it true that we want our neighbor to follow along, share in a give and take fashion, and enjoy the dance of life with us? What if this simple concept were universal? Can we all learn from the Hokey Pokey?
