Brehm Center and the University of Michigan

Contemporary Quilt Artists from Fiber Artists @ loose ends created an assortment of quilted wall hangings for permanent display at the Brehm Center for Type I Diabetes Research and Analysis and Ophthalmology Center at the University of Michigan. The quilts provide education and a pleasing environment for the Diabetic and Ophthalmology patients and staff. Each quilt  has an accompanying artist statement and the subject matter of the pieces.

Fiber Artists @loose ends is now working on a set of cancer related quilts to be delivered in the spring of 2008. The subject of these pieces will be the plants and animals that are used in chemotherapies.
